Non Radio Activity Certificate<\/strong>
As per the importing countries requirement, MPEDA is certifying that the fish and fishery products have been caught in Indian water having radio activity either in traces or within acceptable limits. MPEDA is issuing the Non-Radio Activity Certificate based on the request from exporters.<\/p>

Certificate of Legal Origin<\/strong>
National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (SERNAPESCA), Chile has identified MPEDA as an Authority to validate the Certificate of Legal Origin attesting that the goods in a particular export shipment have been produced, manufactured or processing. MPEDA is issuing the Certificate of Legal Origin based on the request from exporters.<\/p>

Duty Free Import Certificate<\/strong>
MPEDA has been certifying the export quantity and value of exporter\u2019s for a particular year in order to get 1% duty benefit on FOB value for importing the goods under the Customs Notification No.50\/2017-Customs dated 30.06.2017. MPEDA is issuing the Duty Free Import Certificate based on the request from exporters.<\/p>

Certificate of Registration of entities<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Certificate of Registration of Processing Plant:<\/strong>A processing plant is a building and premises constructed as per the standards laid down by the European Union\/MPEDA and approved by the inter-Departmental Panel, wherein a freezing unit or any other processing machinery is installed for processing marine products in any form.<\/li>
  2. Certificate of registration as an Exporter:<\/strong>Registration of exporters of marine products with special reference to exports<\/li>
  3. Storage Premises:<\/strong>Storage Premises where marine products, either frozen, canned or dried, are stored for commercial purposes.<\/li>
  4. Fishing Vessel:<\/strong>Fishing Vessels involved in fishing activities where fishery products are stored in optimal conditions for further processing, freezing and packing on land.<\/li>
  5. Handling centre for Dried Marine Products:<\/strong>Handling Centre Certification for dried or salted seafood products meant for exports.<\/li>
  6. Handling Centre for Fresh\/Chilled Marine Products:<\/strong>Registration of handling centres for fresh or chilled seafood for export.<\/li>
  7. Handling Centre for Live Marine Products:<\/strong>Registration of facilities handling live fish intended for export. The handling centre for ornamental fish is registered under the Live Fish Handling Centre.<\/li>
  8. Peeling Shed\/Pre-processing Centre:<\/strong>Registration of Peeling Shed\/Pre-processing Centre where the marine products are peeled or other wise subjected to pre-processing.<\/li>
  9. Conveyance:<\/strong>Certification of vehicles or transport systems used for the conveyance of Marine products<\/li>
  10. Ice Plant:<\/strong>Registration of ice production units used in the seafood supply chain<\/li>
  11. Facility for Handling , Processing, Packing and Storage of Other (Edible) Marine Products:<\/strong>Registration of facilities for the handling of other edible marine products.<\/li>
  12. Facility for Handling, processing, packing and storage of other (Non-Edible) Marine Products:<\/strong>Registration of facilities for handling other non-edible marine products.<\/li><\/ol><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
