Dr. Emilio T. Quinitio, Scientist, Aquaculture Department, SEAFDEC has rendered consultancy services for the establishment of the hatchery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, its capacity was increased to 1.4 million\/annum. So far, 7.28 million crab instars were produced and supplied from this hatchery to 659 farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MPEDA- RGCA filed for a patent for the Mud crab hatchery technology with the Government of India in 2011.
