GARLIC FLAVOURED PRAWNS

WHAT GOES IN

Prawns (shelled and cleaned) – 600 gms
Ginger paste – 10 gms
Garlic paste – 20 gms
Cummin powder – 1 tspn
Red chilly paste – 10 gms
Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
Vinegar – 15 ml
Tomato concasse – 200 gm
Salt – 1 tspn
Oil – 50ml

HOW TO PREPARE

1. Heat oil and fry the paste spices for 2 mts.
2. Add chilly paste, tomato, cumin powder, salt and cook until the tomato has mashed.
3. Add prawns, vinegar and cook for 10 mts. Sprinkle little water if needed.
4. When the oil starts oozing out remove from fire and serve garnished with tomato and lemon pieces.

Accompaniment: Rice dishes.
Cooking time: 15mts.
