What goes in:
Pomfret/Seer Fish slices – 600 gms
Onion chopped – 100 gms
Ginger crushed – 10 gms
Lime Juice – 10 ml
Mustard Powder – 1 tspn
Green Chilly Slit – 5 no.
Salt – 1 tspn
Oil – 30 ml
Curry Leaves – 1 tspn
Mustard Seeds – 15 gms
Curry Leaves – 1 Sprig
Curd – 100 ml
Cumin Powder – Half tspn
How to prepare:
1. Heat oil and crackle mustard seeds then add curry leaves, ginger, onion and saute.
2. Place fish in it and shallow fry on both sides.
3. Add 400 ml of water, lime juice, green chilly, salt, cumin powder, mustard powder and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. At the end, add beaten curd and simmer for 2 minutes.
5. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
Accompaniment: Boiled Rice.
